One of the most beautiful accommodation experiences

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the place: a house perched on a secluded little hill with views of the sea and mountains. Peace, impeccable cleanliness, and a constant sense of relaxation—these are the words that define Agapanthus. We were especially impressed by the attention to detail shown by the homeowners. Behind the house, there’s a charming garden full of fruits and vegetables carefully cultivated by the hosts. Agapanthus Retreat is truly a storybook place, perfect for reconnecting with nature and loved ones. Highly recommended from the bottom of our hearts!

Our 7 day stay in Agapanthus retreat house was wonderful.

The house has been recently renovated, with new and modern furniture, a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary cooking facilities, a spacious and sunny bathroom, and two comfortable bedrooms. We were two, but the place is suitable for families with children or two married couples. It is close to all the beaches of the Paliki Peninsula; Lepeda is only 10 minutes by car, Xi and Megas Lakkos 15 minutes. Our favourite was Atheras beach, which is about 25 minutes away from the house - a beautiful bay, shallow sea, emerald colour water, two delicious tavernas on the shore. I want to especially thank Pantelis, who manages the house and who, with his professionalism and advice, made our stay so pleasant.

Definitely the best place to stay in Kefalonia!

Everything was beyond our expectations! The house was very clean, fully equipped with all you could need for a great vacation and in a very good area, close to downtown Lixouri and all of the best beaches in Kefalonia. The outdoor lounges are the main attractions of the house, being the perfect places to relax after a long day on the beach. Pantelis is really the best host. He made sure that our stay was a dream. He was checking on us via whatsapp to be sure that we had everything we needed and to ask if we want some suggestions for things like what beach/restaurant/activity to choose for the day. If you want to visit Kefalonia, this is definitely the best choice!

Perfect choice for peaceful and calming vacation

Beautiful house all green around, full of fruits and vegetables which you may collect them. Nice location, very close to the city center and many beaches around. Great housekeeping with a lot of useful and helpful information. You may feel Pantelis as your friend not your housekeeper.
Worth to stay and enjoy your all time in the house. Highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time at Agapanthus retreat

The house offers good privacy and a great view of the surroundings. There is a garden around the house, so you can sit in the sun or shade at any time of day. Lixouri is only a short 10 minute drive away. Pantelis offered loads of recommendations for restaurants, beaches and things to do. The communication with Pantelis was quick, pro-active and friendly. Overall we give this accommodation 5 well deserved stars !

Agapanthus Retreat is new, extremely well-maintained, and has very friendly owners. Our expectations were more than met, and we felt very much at home. It is clean and equipped with both indoor and outdoor comfort. There was enough space for everyone in our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) to be together and do their own thing. There are beautiful beaches just 15 minutes away, several supermarkets nearby, and the house is located on a paved road. The vegetable garden provides plenty of fruits and vegetables, and the host family has fully equipped the house. From a dishwasher, washing machine, and BBQ to small household extras, everything is there.

The house was perfectly clean and has all things we needed and if not, Pantelis helped us with everything. We really enjoyed the garden, from which we could eat fruits and veggies, and had the chance to meet the owners, who were super nice people and our daughter befriended them quickly! Pantelis was a great host, he gave us various recommendations for nice beaches, good restaurants and different things to see. At the end we did not want to leave, it just felt like second home!

Pantelis is always available and responsive. He provided us with recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and things to do or see. He is very proactive! The house has been completely renovated and is magnificent. The two terraces are also very beautiful and pleasant. The house is in the countryside and very quiet, yet it is also very well located—just a 5-minute drive from the center and 10 minutes from the nearest beaches. A perfect stay! I highly recommend it.
